Independent Foreclosure Review Deadline Is Extended

Individuals who were involved in a foreclosure action in 2009 and/or 2010, and who believe they may have been the victims of a fraudulent foreclosure by their mortgage servicer have the right to have an Independent Mortgage Review. The deadline has been extended so more people may participate.

I have as much faith in this new Independent Foreclosure Review as I did in the Making Homes Affordable Program (remember that one).

Let’s just say that your mortgage servicer foreclosed illegally. What can you do about it now: your home has been taken, you were forced to relocate, maybe you had to switch jobs, incur moving costs, suffered marital strife, problems with kids, emotional distress, etc. Will $2,000.00 compensate you for the fraudulent activities of the mortgage servicer?

Over the next couple of days, we will answer your questions about the Independent Foreclosure Review.
